ggbal01
I am using 7.7.325 (64-bit). I was told that it supports Win7. However, when I run restore registry in an administrator account, I got following error. TReg::Replace(C:\Users\testuser\AppData\Local\Temp\REG00000): failed, osErr 17, error -1011 Can't restore registry, error -1011 ( API request impossible) vtopRestoreState: Registry restored unsuccessfully. System configuration restored, please reboot the computer. I wondering whether it is my configuration problem or 7.7 does not support Win7. Any help? spawn
I am seeing this problem as well. Was there ever any resolution, or does anyone have suggestions on troubleshooting this? Is it a known problem?
spawn
As it turned out, the problem was a loose cable connection on the CD drive. Other symptoms, and the reason for the attempts at restoring from Retrospect in the first place, were media players (iTunes, WinAmp, WMP) getting "stuck" as soon as you tried to start them.
