jnmaloof
A new twist on recent posts. I restarted my computer to install some system software updates (but NO firmware update). Retrospect asks for license code. When I enter my license code I receive the message "an error occurred". (Different from when I mistype my license, which gives a "this is an invalid license" message. Any thoughts?
jnmaloof
Talked to licensing this morning. I was not entering my permanent license. So this problem is solved. Although, like other recent posters I have lost scripts, etc.
rhwalker
Although, like other recent posters I have lost scripts, etc. Not necessarily. Bootstrap yourself up to where you have Retrospect 8 running with a valid license code (it seems that you are there) and then restore a copy of the config80.dat file (it has all of your scripts, etc.) from your backups, move that into the proper place on the engine computer.
