AlexCherny
Hello, I have Sony AIT-2 Turbo IDE Drive for 3 years. All my Sony TAIT2-80N cartridges are run out, and I cannot buy such tapes in Ukraine. But I can buy different HP cartrudges - Q1997A, Q1998A, Q1999A. Tell me please - is it possible to use any HP tape on my AIT-2 Turbo? Or I can use only Sony's TAIT's (TAITE-20N, TAIT1-40N, TAIT1-40C, TAIT2-80N, TAIT2-80C) and SDX tapes (SDX1-25C, SDX1-35C, SDX2-36C, SDX2-50C, SDX2-50W)? I did not find clear explanation for this question. Sony's support recommended to ask HP Support for this issue... Thanks in advance! rhwalker
Please explain how your question has anything to do with Retrospect.
AlexCherny
rhwalker I use my AIT-2 Turbo Drive with Retrospect Express 7.
rhwalker
Yes, but, as Sony support correctly told you: Sony's support recommended to ask HP Support for this issue... This is not HP support. You are asking an HP Support question that has nothing to do with Retrospect. I back up Microsoft Word files with Retrospect, but I wouldn't ask a Microsoft Word support question here. The expertise to answer your question is at, let me guess, HP Support. Russ
AlexCherny
Thanks a lot, rhwalker! Unfortunatelly HP Support keeps silence... Edited March 14, 2010 by Guest
rhwalker
Still, you are asking an HP Support question. This isn't the right place to ask that question. Russ
