robvil
Hi, Running Retrospect 7.6.123 update 7.6.2.101 on Win2008 SP2 32bit. Backup client: W2K3 SP2 32bit retro client 7.6.107 running exchange 2003 enterprise. Run a backup of the exchange datastore and then stop the execution half way during backup. This works. Then run a mailbox backup of the same exchange server and you will get: + Normal backup using Backup Exchange postkasser til tape at 14-01-2010 22:00 (Execution unit 2) Script error: no source volumes specified 14-01-2010 22:00:01: Execution incomplete The problem is that retrospect client never puts the exchange information store "out of backup" state and this causes the mailbox backup to fail. Restart exchange services. Exchange log says: Information Store (2912) First Storage Group: The backup has been stopped prematurely (possibly because the instance is terminating). Information Store (2912) Callback function call ErrESECBGetDatabasesInfo ended with error 0x8004010F . Information Store (2912) Callback function call ErrESECBDoneWithInstanceForBackup ended with error 0x8004010F . After this Retrospect backup server (retrospect.exe) will crash with some asset bla bla error. Regards Robert
