I thought that I'd post them here, and EMC's progress on these issues in the hope that it may help others: 1. Our tape devices show “content unrecognized†and/or “not respondingâ€. From what I'm told, this is a known issue. - Right now, EMC tech support tells me that this is still not working correctly. 2. Database *.mdf files stored on drives other than the MSSQL root get backed up twice: once via the SQL server agent, and once as files via the open file backup add-on. Because of this, database backups are up to twice as large as they should be. - EMC has confirmed that this is a bug. 3. Live restores on some Server 2008/x64 configurations produce “insufficient permissions†errors (see this thread) - EMC is attempting to replicate this issue. I'll post more as I hear more from EMC.
