twickland Posted December 1, 2009 Report Share Posted December 1, 2009 What you're in effect asking is, can you use a HD volume as a member of a tape backup set. The answer is no. The media types are too different. To run your incremental backups to a HD, you would first need to perform a full backup to a file backup set on the HD volume, or to a removable disk backup set using that HD as the first member.
