mkshields
I am trying to restore files from a backup set on Iomega NAS Drive to a new hard drive on my laptop after old drive crashed. I do not have a catalog file backed up (was not aware I needed to do this). I tried to Repair Catalog-navigated to NAS drive-opened Retrospect folder-opened Backup Set A folder-opened 1-Backup Set A. Does not show any backup sets in that folder. Yet I can open that folder in Windows Explorer and see all backup sets. What am I doing wrong? It appears that Retrospect is looking for Backup Sets with file extensions .rbf,.rbc yet the file extensions of Backup files when viewed with Windows Explorer say Retrospect Disk Backup Set (.rdb) Edited November 26, 2009 by Guest
