teortega Posted October 26, 2009 Report Share Posted October 26, 2009 We upgraded to v8.1 (b622) on Mac OS X server v10.5.8, using Quantum U3 AutoSuperLoader3 w/latest firmware. Initially, the backups hung once it had started writing to media and it was associated to the LTO drive which needed cleaning. Now, it scans and prepares to execute the backup but goes into a "Choose Media" state. There is a media set configured and I've manually attempted to select media from that set and outside of that. Each time it generates the following exception: "ActivitiesController::handleMediaResponseWithDevice execption: not a data transfer device ...
