Giobbi
Hi. I managed to make ONE backup to tape then it suddenly stopped. I finally looked in my syslog and found this: Sep 11 15:50:58 test-dator authexec[176]: executing /Library/PreferencePanes/RetrospectServer.prefPane/Contents/Resources/Retrospect Sep 11 15:50:58 test-dator Retrospect[176]: Retro Prefs Pane Helper: start_server Sep 11 15:50:58 test-dator [0x0-0x15015].com.apple.systempreferences[151]: 2009-09-11 15:50:58.963 Retrospect[176:913] Retro Prefs Pane Helper: start_server Sep 11 15:50:59 test-dator sudo[177]: root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/ ; USER=root ; COMMAND=/bin/launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.retrospect.launchd.retroengine.plist Sep 11 15:50:59 test-dator com.retrospect.RetroEngine[178]: #3> Sep 11 15:50:59 test-dator com.retrospect.RetroEngine[178]: DLLoadLib: no id resource in "/Library/Application Support/Retrospect/RetrospectEngine.bundle/Contents/MacOS/libretrores.dylib", skipDyloCheck 0x1 Sep 11 15:50:59 test-dator com.retrospect.RetroEngine[178]: #2> Sep 11 15:50:59 test-dator com.retrospect.RetroEngine[178]: Command line is /Library/Application Support/Retrospect/RetrospectEngine.bundle/Contents/MacOS/RetroEngine Sep 11 15:51:10 test-dator com.retrospect.RetroEngine[178]: #1> stucANH: IORegistryEntryCreateCFProperties 4 (error 0) When i try to make backup to tape i get mixed errors from Retro: Sep 11 15:54:40 test-dator Retrospect[186]: BackupSet::setBackupSet exception: {Support-tape} Bad Passowrd or Other Access Failure I also get this, have no clue what it means: Sep 11 15:54:40 test-dator Retrospect[186]: BackupSet::setBackupSet exception: {Support-tape} Bad Passowrd or Other Access Failure Anyone have an idea whats going on? twickland
You appear to be running Retrospect 8. If so, you've posted to the wrong forum. You want Retrospect 8 for Macintosh.
