richtones
I'm running retrospect 6.1.126 on a Mac OS 10.4.11 machine and backing up data on Apple Xserve raids. When we make changes to the data's access permissions, retrospect backs everything up again. Is there a way to get it to ignore permissions changes? rhwalker
Yes. For each script, adjust the Options > Matching settings. (Automate > Scripts, select script, Edit, Options). However, be careful. You may not end up with what you need, especially on OS files, for which ACLs, permissions, and ownership are important. As a comment, your version of Retrospect 6.1 is a bit out of date, and you might want to consider doing the update to Retrospect 6.1.230: Retrospect 6.1 updates Russ
