Penmaster Posted June 21, 2009 Report Share Posted June 21, 2009 I created a selector to backup all files in folders matching pattern="backups" (folders named "backups"). I made the backup and checked the session contents which was correct as intended. When I made the backup I checked the preview browser window and the marked files and folders were also exactly as I specified in the selector. But when I was restoring the backup and checked the "files chosen" preview browser, there were additional files and folders that did not appear in the session contents. I restored a small portion of the backup, then paused it to check the files and there were, indeed, extra files and folders in the restored files that did not appear in the session contents. There is only one session in this backup set. I am using Retrospect 7.6.2.101 on Windows XP Pro. Does anyone know how these extra files and folders got in the backup?
