jspiel
Hello, I use a Disk Media Set. I have 3 scripts that make a backup a this media set. All is OK. What I want now is to delete older backups from this media set. How can I do ? Is this what the grooming option is ? And... can I manually remove a backup from the media set ? Thanks. madasczik
You are right, grooming will do it for you. To manually delete backups, go under Backup Sets, you can right click the oldest one and hit Forget. You can also go to the folder that you have set to retain the catalog files *.rbc and delete the corresponding file. I recommend creating a new backupset every week so that you have a weekly full backup and daily incrementals for the remainder of the week. jspiel
Ok for grooming option. A good thing... For the "one backup set" every week... Hmmm... I did that, but it's not really easy to play with if I want to be able to restore more than one week later files...
