Maser
If Robin is around... One of the drives on my external FW RAID died, so I'm copying off my "disk" media sets to a different external HD. I'd like to use those sets on the *other drive* while I repair my RAID (and then copy them back when the repair is finished...) Once I've "finder-copied" the files off the RAID to the other FW drive, how do I point the system to use the other FW hard disk versions of the "disk" media sets? The catalog files are on the internal hard disk of the backup computer.
Maser
Whoops -- I didn't mean "moving the catalogs" -- I meant "moving the disk media sets"...
Maser
FWIW -- I moved the "Retrospect" folder from my RAID to another disk and named the other disk the same name as the RAID volume This seems to work. Time consuming -- but it worked.
