markleedsuk
An option to stop/start/restart the engine. A way to alter the client priority. A note on how to do sub-rules (a AND (B OR C)) - the answer is OPTION + '+' but I found that by trial and error. Bring back scheduled times so I can stop it running automatically at certain times. markleedsuk
Oh and on Windows you could preview the selectors (long time since I used it but pretty sure), that way you could check them to make sure they worked the way you wanted and excluded/included the right stuff. Be really nice to be able to do this on the Mac.
CallMeDave
An option to stop/start/restart the engine. You mean from a remote console machine? If the Retrospect application sent a command to the engine machine to kill retroengine, how would the Retrospect application then be able to communicate with the machine to start it again? So instead of asking the developers to come up with some dedicated method to start and stop processes on a remote machine, just use the way unix admins have been doing it for years, via an ssh connection to the machine.
