rbergquist Posted June 20, 2008 Report Share Posted June 20, 2008 Win XP Pro failed - would not reboot. Reformated XP partition with NTFS. Restored Windows from Restore partition. Applied SP2 updates to match level of XP when backups were made. Restored Retrospect Express HD to same version backups were made with. Initiated full System Restore. Completed about 90% of restore successfully, then failed with "Error -1106 media blank". Knowlegebase of Retrospect Error Code Table does not list any Articles for this error. Any clue as to cause of error & recovery technique? Note: since then I have had XP do a checkdsk on the drive and it is reported replacing Bad Clusters in the retored files.
