tkrueger
I have a new HP Pavilion Elite M9047c-b Windows Vista Home Premium PC. It came with a "TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H653L ATA Device". Purchased a Retrospect 7.5 upgrade to install on it. Running 7.0 on my old computer. I can't get Retrospect to recognize this the DVD drive. Under Device Status is says No Tape or Optical drives found. Under Device Envirionment, I see the hard disk and then a then a device ID with all DOTS. I tried stopping the Launcher Service as per another post in these forums and that didn't help. How can I get this DVD drive to work????
SHnee
Hi Terry, Try to custom-configure a driver for your DVD drive: http://kb.dantz.com/article.asp?article=1077&p=
tkrueger
The "Configure CD/DVD Drive" menu option is dimmed out, not allowing you to select it.
