Error -1012 (feature unsupported)

I run the latest version of Retrospect on Vista Home Premium with latest updates.

 

I back up three computers over a local network to a Buffalo Linkstation. I also archive data from the Linkstation to another disk. The backup job that archives data from the Linkstation generates a single error:

 

File "\\SERVER1\music\Mike Oldfield\Guitars\05 Out Of Sight.mp3": can't read, error -1012 (feature unsupported)

 

Thousands of other files on that device are copied without any problems. File attributes on the flagged file look just like those on other files. I copied the file to a local disk, deleted the original, then copied it back, still the same error message.

 

Any ideas?
