Knyoung Posted July 31, 2004 Report Share Posted July 31, 2004 I just updated RE 5.0 with the 5.0.238 updater and now I can't do a backup. I get the window "Please select a new disc," showing my disc as locked and "not responding." I'm running OS 9.2.2, using a Que QPS PX-W8432T drive. I've been using this set up for some time, and this just started. I tried erasing the disk in Toast and starting over, and even switched to new discs of the same brand (Sony) and also Verbatim. Knyoung Posted August 2, 2004 Author Report Share Posted August 2, 2004 Hanz, No, I don't have another one available with Firewire. However, I'm fairly certain it's RE not the hardware.
