BurtonCohen Posted July 25, 2002 Report Share Posted July 25, 2002 I recently migrated data from one computer to another. At that time I adjusted the scripts and created new storage sets. The script is set to run each night at 6 PM. At 6 PM the script starts up then Retrospect asks me to insert the tape for that day - eg Thursday tape. The window shows Wednesdays (or Tuesdays, etc.) tape in the drive EVEN THOUGH the Thursday tape is in the drive. This is happening every night. Monday shows Friday's tape and asks for Monday's tape even though the Monday tape is already in the drive. The script is set to Normal Backup. Anyone have a solution? AmyJ Posted July 26, 2002 Report Share Posted July 26, 2002 It sounds like your tapes were intially inserted on the wrong day and now the labels are incorrect. Go to Configure > Backup sets and insert your tapes one by one. You will see the actual names of the tapes (the name corresponds to the backup set) and you can adjust the labels accordingly.
