fywang2000
Here is an update to my prior posting. I am using a Titanium G4 notebook computer w/ a Mashita 8121 CD-RW/DVD combo drive. I did an experiment: I backed up a folder where 2 CD's would be required. As usual, after all the files were backed up, we moved into the verification phase. During the verification process, the computer requested 1-Backup A which I dutifully inserted after ejecting 2-Backup A. Well the computer did not recognize the disk and then supposedly "erased" the disk. I stopped the whole backup process and threw 1-Backup A CD in the garbage. As it turns out, later, I dug the CD out of the garbage and found the CD was indeed readable during a restore process. Of course, all my testing has been pretty limited. My question is this: why even include a verification process if the computer cannot proceed after that point. What is the deal here ?
AmyJ
You need the Retrospect Driver Update in order for this drive to be compatible with Retrospect.
