petecuss Posted August 1, 2002 Report Share Posted August 1, 2002 Sorry to sound such a Retrospect fool but I have an annoying problem when I restore files from a backup. I have searched the FAQ's but have only found one similar question and the answer isn't really viable. When we want to restore files from a backup we first search to find the respective files and then when located restore them to the hard disk but the annoying thing is that the folder structure is lost and all of the files are massed together. Is there something i'm missing that would enable me to keep the folder structure the same as when it was archived? I have seen the reply to "archive entire disk" but that would restore too many files and not only the files wanted. Can anyone help? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
