27West
Hello, I have nothing but trouble trying to backup to my CD-RW (Plextor 8432) using Retrospect Express 5.0 with my iMac (running OS 9.1). I've done reinstalls, extensions juggling, everything, still I'm getting errors! My understanding is that RE 5.0 is a "carbon" based software package, better suited OS X. I do not intend to upgrade to OS X in the near future, still I would like to backup my files. Can I get a copy of RE 4.3, given that I'm a registered user of RE 5.0 (bundled with Norton System Works). RE 4.3 seems to be more stable under OS 9.x from what I've read on this forum. I understand if there is a fee for the disc and s&h. Thank you, 27 West

27West
Hi Amy, Thanks for the reply. I was able to remedy the RE 5.0 issue by checking a post on this forum (see "System 1 Error" thread)?. All works fine now. Those darned extension conflicts can drive a person batty! ;-) Cheers, 27 West
