AmyJ
While in Retrospect, go to Configure > Devices > Device Status. What is listed for Vendor, Product and Version for this drive? If information is not listed, please check the Apple System Profiler for Make and Model details.
Pius
I've looked there too, my superdrive is the pioneer DVR-103 one, and is listed on Retrospect's list
AmyJ
There are no required files for Mac OS X with version 5.0 Try rebooting the machine with base extensions only and see if Retrospect can see the drive. Make sure there are no disks in the drive. Is the drive seen through the Apple System Profiler : Devices and Volumes?
