wont automatically launch script

Recommended Posts

hi all,

i just installed Retrospect Express 4.3 on a Powermac 8600/300 running OS 8.1.

Ive created a script and rebooted the computer. But no matter what i do, Retrospect wont launch to run the script. It only runs the script if it is running. Ive checked that theres a Retrospect extention i nthe extension folder and Ive made sure the option for automatic launch is enabled. Im not too familiar with macs but i think Ive done everything and it still doesnt work.

Im on the phone with tech support right now but Ive been on hold for like 40mins.

Can somebody help me here?

john

Do you have Multiple User mode enabled? Mac OS 9's Multiple Users prevents Retrospect from launching automatically to execute its scheduled scripts.

If this is the case, you will need to disable Multiple User mode to have Retrospect autolaunch.
