bcramer
2 x 2 GHz G5 w/Dual HDs, MacOS 10.3.2, Retrospect 5.1 When I try to update the BackUp Set for my main Hard Drive it stops and shows the Operation Log with the latest entry: *** Executing Immediate to Backup at: 12/26/2003 11:50 Can't add to package set Backup Set Mac A: The catalog is locked. 12/26/2003 11:50:05 : Execution incomplete. *** I've checked Get Info for the Catalog and it does not indicate that the file is locked. Where or how can I unlock the file or what am I doing wrong?
AmyJ
You may want to try running Disk Utility and have it do a repair of permissions on the disk. You can also try rebuilding the catalog file from the media (or repair file backup set for a file BU set)

I finally ran Retrospect 5.167 again and redid the BackUp file. Thanks for the answer.
