sys Posted May 20, 2003 Report Share Posted May 20, 2003 I have a Sony SDT-7000 tape unit on a SCSI card Adaptec 2906. I have updated the driver for the SCSI-card and also installed the Retrospect 5.0 Driver Update in the folder with Retrospect (version 5.0.238) The tape drive is visible on the visible devices in Retrospect Express. But the tape (inserted in the drive) is not visible in the strorage devices. Also it is not possible to make a backup to any tape. He does not see any tape. What went wrong???
