ch00ch002u
Hi, I'm having trouble unstalling a copy of Retrospect 5.0.540 on OS 10.2.3. When I try to uninstall it using the uninstaller, some files remain because they are locked/in-use even though the client is off. I would like to know the Paths of all the files in the retrospect install so I can log in as root as forcefully delete/unlock all the files before reinstalling it. I've deleted all files in /Applications/Retrospect Client ~user/System/Library/Preferences/Retrospect /Library/StartupItems Background information: The reason I want to do this is that the program stopped working. After a power surge, the program kept giving the Error 1028 (client not found on the network) even though the configuring clients page could see that the computer needed to be logged in. I've checked that the computer is connected, pingable, AppleTalk enabled, not blocking ports (no firewall within the network), etc... Incidentally, installing/uninstalling as root doesn't help either... thanks for the help, dave
