iggywuzz Posted February 3, 2003 Report Share Posted February 3, 2003 I recently installed retrospect 5.0 on a G4 Tower (dual 867) along with an Imation travan firewire drive and I cannot get a backup to perform correctly. No matter how its setup, the drive never seems to get past the first file (the status dialog reports "1 file, 13K completed" and never progresses). In addition, I'll often try to access the drive via Configure Devices and retrospect will hang, necessetating a force quit. I tried using the same drive on a Powerbook G4 and everything worked without a hitch. Both systems are running the same verion of Retrospect and Mac OS X 10.2.3. Are there any problems specific to the new G4 towers, or is there an Install option (either retrospect or OS X) that could be causing this problem?
