broomejenkins Posted November 15, 2007 Report Share Posted November 15, 2007 Hi All Our Retrospect Backup (V6.1.126) can't see two of the four computers we did have set to backup. Retrospect server is running on a G5 and there are two PC clients which are still fine, one other G5 connected via ethrenet and one Powerbook connected via Airport wirelessly are now missing. The message I get each time I try to reconfigure the clients missing is that there is an: Error -1028 Client is not visible on network, even though the G5 client shows up as responding in the Network panel (the Powerbook is still absent though). The only things that I can think of that have changed are the updates downloaded for Mac OSX (all Mac clients are running 10.4.10) and the Airport Extreme base station being reset (pin in the back to reset).
