Error: The disk cannot be used, error 1017 (Insufficient permissions)

Hi

 

Hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having. I have a REV drive but have never been able to backup. I always get the message: The disk cannot be used, error 1017 (Insufficient permissions) when selecting where to backup to. I'm not backing up over a network so it's not that. I already have Retrospect 7.5 set up to run under the specified user and it does.

Another problem is that when I look at the properties of the REV disk it says that there is zero bytes usable (meaning that apparently the disk is full). Even though I have formatted it and have never been able to back up to it!
