atlogic Posted September 17, 2007 Report Share Posted September 17, 2007 Hi I'm using retrospect 6.0.149 on xServe 10.3.9. I'm using a NAS as target of backups via FTP. All right. Friday, I try to restore 3 files from backup, but it's fail whit error "Error 109: unexpected filemark or ftp end of file". What means? Why this error? These files are damaged, lost for ever? On the contrary; if this configuration has worked in the past, with files Restored as expected, then it sounds as if there is, indeed, a problem with the FTP server, if it has corrupted files that it is storing. Are you able to Restore _any_ files from this Backup Set? I would start with trying to Rebuild the Backup Set Catalog (Tools->Repair->Rebuild Internet backup set), as well as performing any diagnostics available on the ftp server computer (the NAS device).
