LSP Posted September 1, 2007 Report Share Posted September 1, 2007 I had a full backup of my PC and I am trying to restore it to a different folder on a network drive. The PC that was backed up was wiped. After a restore that took almost an entire day, the new folder shows that all folders and files are restored, BUT the files are zero kb and can't be opened. So I can browse and see all the folders and files, but can't open any of them. Very confusing and frustrating since it's an 80 gig backup and as I mentioned it takes almost an entire day to do the restore. I should have used 'copy' which doesn't use the cryptic unusable backup files...but too late for that. Can anybody help with this? I backed up to the WD 1 TB world book, and am trying to restore to the same device. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
