RomanRMPCorp.net Posted July 18, 2007 Report Share Posted July 18, 2007 Retrospect becomes DOA when scanning a mailbox store of 47GB for an Exchange 2003 Information Store - returns the -2214 error message (not able to locate 7.5 error messages). Attempting to forward the error information to EMC results in Retrospect being cancelled by Windows 2003. Current version is 7.5 with the latest updates and hot fixes. Tape device is a dual changer Dell TapeVault DLT7000. Hardware and software are fine - Veritas Backup Exec 10d previously installed and operated with no problems. Attempting to standardize the backup software within the enterprise to a single vendor's product. Any insight would be appreciated since my familiarity with Retrospect is somewhat limited.
