Guest Posted June 22, 2007 Report Share Posted June 22, 2007 We are running Backup with Retrospect 6.1 on OS X 10.3.9 and a extern REV Drive connected via FireWire. Our problem is that the REV Drive has no button to eject the media . So the user who changes the media every day needs to eject the media through the Retrospect Software. But a ordinary user who is touching the Backupserver everyday is one of the most potential error sources. We tried to eject the Media with a AppleScript via crontab. But we just dont get it running.
