New Driver Update solves problem for iMac Matshita drive

Recommended Posts

Good news for the many of us who complained for months that they were unable to use Retrospect 6.1 with their new iMac and its internal Matshita UJ-85J drive: the last Driver Update ( solves the problem. At least, it solves it for me. I didn't do extensive testing but I successfully created a backup set on a DRD+R. The documentation for the Driver Update doesn't list the Mashita UJ-85J but after installing the update, the drive is recognized by Retrospect.
