bdthom Posted June 14, 2007 Report Share Posted June 14, 2007 I have used my WD 160 Gig external hard drive for almost two years on a desktop and laptop. I plug the drive into each directly and then push the automatic button. On the laptop now I had it set to do drives C and D but would have to modify to do both drives. The last time I tried the laptop it did not recognize the catalogs for C and D. I couldnt' find them and therefore I just redid. But now when I back up I get .rdb files of 600,000 bytes. I used to get my backup as files that were not compressed and could easily be moved. Now they are .rdb files instead. I am using Retrospect 6.5. Thanks.
