randyc
I am currently running Retrospect Desktop for Mac version 6.1.126. I have been experiencing significant problems since migrating my system to Mac OS 10.4.9. I have reinstalled Retrospect on this system. According to FAQ "Retrospect 6.1 for Macintosh supports Apple's new Intel-based computers running Mac OS X": "EMC has completed certification of EMC Retrospect 6.1 for Macintosh for use on Apple's new Intel-based computers running Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger." How do I update from 6.1.126 to the "certified" version?
rhwalker
Quote: How do I update from 6.1.126 to the "certified" version? You have the most recent version. Your version is as "certified" as it gets. Next announced update is some unspecified time following release of Leopard (Mac OS 10.5) in October, and will simply be tweaks to the current Rosetta-emulated PPC code base to support Leopard (whatever that means). No release has been announced to fix the list of long-outstanding bugs. You don't say what version of the Retrospect Driver Update ("RDU") that you have. Current one is 6.1.10.100, but some people have been reporting problems with that version. You might want to use 6.1.9.102. The RDU updates are here: RDU version history Russ
