villager Posted May 30, 2007 Report Share Posted May 30, 2007 Using retrospect 6.5 on home xp system where 2 pc's are networked through a router. Am trying to "duplicate" entire c: harddrive of the 2nd pc to a wd Book drive on the 1st pc using a script but get error 1017 (insurricient permissions) message. How do I overcome this message? Am guessing pswd for user on 2nd machine needs to be provided but I don't get prompted for it. If this is posted in wrong forum, please tell me which one a home user should post to.
