RokleM
I've used Retrospect for a number of years very successfully. However, recently I purchased a D-Link DNS-323 NAS. I have it setup and working properly with all the devices on my network, however Retrospect does not work properly. During "Duplicate", it is not able to properly identify what files are "new" or "changed" and typically will delete and re-copy 50-75% of the files (which takes hours instead of minutes to sync). The D-Link is formated in EXT3. I tried a couple of other synchronization programs (which I dislike), and they worked properly. I'm lead to believe the issue is with Retrospect specifically, as everything else I've tried works (normal file copies, standard share access, etc). Is this device not compatible? Is there a certain set of specific settings to use when "Duplicating" to ensure it works properly? I'm running 7.5.287, so I can't install any newer update. Thanks.
