intouchsystem Posted April 30, 2007 Report Share Posted April 30, 2007 Hi All, I hope that your can help me. We have got a a Mac OSX running Retrospect 5.1 backup server. We have just brought a Overland NEO 2000 SDLT320 to replace a DLT 800 UNIT. Retrospect picks up the drive OK and It can even restore old tapes. The problem is that retrospect 5.1 does not give me an option to scan the tapes in this new loader. But on the old DLT 8000 unit it did. Has any one see this problem? The Overland NEO 2000 SDLT320 uses a barcode tape system, does retrospect 5.1 software barcode tapes? On the Overland data sheet retrospect 5.1 is Compatitable with this unit.
