mykolad Posted April 18, 2007 Report Share Posted April 18, 2007 I am trying to restore my HD from a full backup that I did to a MAXTOR ONETOUCH III Turbo Edition drive using Retrospect Express HD. The procedure that I follow is to format the drive, install Windows XP Home Edition, install the hardware drivers and then install all Windows updates and patches. I then install the software that came with the MAXTOR, which includes the Retrospect Express HD. At this point I run the restore. The result is that the application programs do not get restored properly. I tried this several times, with the same results. Can anyone help?
