Exchange 2K store won't start after client install

Exchange 2000 Enterprise on Server 2000.

Retrospect 7.5

 

I installed the Retrospect client on the server and rebooted the system when prompted. After the reboot the Exchange Services would not start and no mail would flow. I uninstalled the Rretrospect client, rebooted, and mail proceeded to flow again.

 

There were no errors with the installation of the Retrospect client application.

 

Anyone seen this before? Thanks in advance.
