email message files

Running Windows XP and Retrospect Express with the 2.7 update, MSN web based email accessed with Outlook Express. Whenever I perform a backup which includes my email message files (*.dbx) all of the files get backed up each time with a normal backup, instead of only the ones that have changed. It seems like they aren't getting tagged correctly. I thought that maybe when I went in to Outlook Express, the program somehow scanned all of the messages giving the semblance of being changed. However doing two backups within a few seconds of each other without accessing any programs other than Retrospect has the same results. As the files total approx 95 mb, it is using a lot of media (and time) for what should be a quick backup of only the changed files.

 

 

 

Any help would be much appreciated.
