bedgood
I have purchased a Powervault 120T dlt7000 and apparently it is not compatable with Retrospect, has anybody gotten this to work? Or what other solutions are there? I am running Retrospect 6.0.193 on a Mac G-4. Thanks for the help Mike

rhwalker
Quote: I am running Retrospect 6.0.193 Is there a reason that you are not running the current version of Retrospect and the current RDU that adds support for additional devices and has bug fixes? Free updates to latest version of Retrospect and RDU are here: Retrospect Mac updates and, again, it would be nice to know your Mac OS version. bedgood
I am running 10.3.9. But the problem is the Powervault 120t comes in multiple versions and I received the HVD version. So I am now looking for a new solution. Can a 35/70 drive read and write 40/80 tapes? I am guessing no. Thanks Mike

Here is the current list of supported devices, which is a good place to start: Retrospect Supported Devices For what it's worth, my approach is to: (1) assess requirements (2) research software and hardware that meets those requirements (3) choose software that meets those requirements (4) choose hardware supported by the chosen software.
