dansiegel
I continue to receive a 1103 error whenever backing up to an external hard drive on a schedule, but not when I initiate a backup manually. Any ideas why?
safreeds
The 1103 error to which you are referring is a"write protected" correct? If so that sounds like it might be permissions. Can you provide some more details? Is this a NAS device? Are you doing a backup or duplicate? Does this happen to the entire script?
dansiegel
I am backing up from a mapped volume on a server to an external hard drive. This does happen to the entire script.
safreeds
Hopefully this is correct: You have a mapped drive on your machine. That mapping points to a folder on the server. This does look like permissions. Do you have Retrospect set to "Always run as the specified user"? If you do not that is a change you need to make in Configure -> Preferences under the "Security" section.
