MGothelf Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 I have installed Retrospect Express which came with an Iomega drive. I have set up an automatic backup of the 'MyDocuments' folder to run every night at 1:00. For a month it has been starting never finishing. First it couldn't find the drive, even though it was visible on the system and when I went into the Retrospect software it wsa there. Then it seemed to 'find' the disk, but it was finding errors with random files within the backup. I move the 'bad' files and try again, and it seems like another file causes the error. I can manually copy anything to the Iomega drive, but the automatic backup always seems to crash on a different file each time. When I try to do an immediate backup (Duplicate on the menu), it works fine. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
