DCK Posted January 25, 2007 Report Share Posted January 25, 2007 When all is set up and ready to go in Retrospect-Express using Win XP on a Dell, small screen says "The disk is write protected. Plse unlock it and try again". Dell tells me that disks are not lock/unlock -able. I'm using DVD-R and have been successful twice before w/o getting this message. DCK Posted February 10, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2007 I got a hot flash, replaced my DVD-R with DVD+R, reran Retrospect and it was taking w/o error messages - until the power went off.
