"Disk is write protected, unlock and retry."

When all is set up and ready to go in Retrospect-Express using Win XP on a Dell, small screen says "The disk is write protected. Plse unlock it and try again". Dell tells me that disks are not lock/unlock -able. I'm using DVD-R and have been successful twice before w/o getting this message.
