morgandj
I'm using WinXP and am trying to move Retrospect to my new computer. I dropped the catalog files on the Retrospect icon but, I'm not sure what to do with the config70 file. The manual doesn't really specify. When I try to do a restore of any kind .... it fails saying it can't find my DVD's. When I use tools to rebuild the cat files, it fails also. Is there a better procedure for moving Retrospect to another computer. Thanks in advance.
safreeds
If you are able to launch Retrospect on the new machine and can get as far as trying to Restore then it sounds like Retrospect is running. The issue may lie with the CD/DVD drive on the new machine. If it is too new it may not be supported by Retrospect. You can check the supported devices link here.
