cedr Posted December 30, 2006 Report Share Posted December 30, 2006 I need to do a main backup (235GB) on a hard disk drive (250 GB) each week. As the backup set capacity is nearly the same than the source, I need to do a recycle backup. The HD drive is not always the same one (there are two HD rotating in a safety box, irregularly connected to the server). I created two different backup sets : A & B. SOL1 : I have tried to create a normal recycle backup script BUT the script prompted me a window to ask one of the two HD not connected at the schedule time ! SOL2 : I have tried to create a proactive backup BUT because it seems not possible to create a recycle backup (with proactive backup), the script prompted me a window to ask a new backup member (because the current ont is full !).
