CheshireCat
I'd like to perform a shutdown of MySQL service on Windows Server while the backup runs on the particular volume hosting the databases. E.g. "net stop mysql" Can anybody help me with the sample .BAT external script? (retroeventhandler.bat) I tool a look at it and my head is spinning! It's very long and complicated. Oy! I know I could schedule Windows via At to do a mysqldump beforehand, and exclude the live database folder (may do both) but I think understanding Retrospct's external script would be very useful. Thanks in advance!
